The short version: Unsub does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Who We Are

Unsub is a subscription tracking app developed by Thomas ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data We Collect

None. Unsub operates entirely on your device. We do not:

Collect personal information
Require account creation
Access your bank accounts or financial credentials
Track your usage or behaviour
Use analytics or tracking SDKs
Share data with third parties

Data Stored on Your Device

Unsub stores the following locally on your device only:

Subscription details you manually enter (service names, amounts, dates)
App settings and preferences
Notification schedules

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (e.g., CSV export via the share sheet).

Gmail Scan (Optional)

If you choose to use the Gmail import feature:

You authenticate directly with Google via OAuth
We request read-only access to scan for subscription-related emails
Email scanning happens on your device
We do not store your Google credentials
We do not transmit email content to any server
Access can be revoked at any time via your Google account settings

In-App Purchases

Premium purchases are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements. RevenueCat receives:

An anonymous app user ID
Purchase receipts (to validate your purchase)

We do not receive or store any payment information. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

Notifications

Unsub schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of upcoming renewals. These are not push notifications from a server — they are scheduled entirely on-device and do not require any network connection.

Children's Privacy

Unsub does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect information from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date. Since we don't collect email addresses, we cannot notify you directly — please check back occasionally.
